One of the main areas in Fukuoka where people go to shop...
Like the one in Beppu, there was a festival occurring in Fukuoka. However, this festival was much more grandiose in comparison to Beppu's festival. Moreover, we had an excellent view of the fireworks show, as we were able to watch from Aki's grandparents' suite on the 14th floor. Let me tell you, the Japanese don't mess around when it comes to putting on a fireworks display for these festivals. This show was nearly two hours long.
A sort of panoramic view of Fukuoka park from where we were...
Some of the fireworks...
Group photo of my friends and I at Aki's grandparents' suite...
In the back: Yusuke, Tama, Takumi, Takuya, and Aki. In the front: me and Aki's dad. ---
Next stop: Nagasaki....
